How I got started with podcast editing – 

Nothing compares to free advertising! Especially as an entrepreneur, you want to use podcasting and YouTube to your advantage.

But the excitement to “be everywhere, in front of everyone” begins to fade when you realize how much behind-the-scenes work and time it takes. You might even start wondering how in the world they seem to do it so flawlessly.

After creating my own podcast and YouTube channel as a personal finance coach, I discovered first-hand how hard it is to juggle both the content creation side AND the post-production side.

That’s where systems, efficiency, and honing my superb management skills saved me!

I went from feeling lost and in the weeds to productive and profitable. As a result, people far and wide were asking me how I did it!

I’ve been editing audio and video professionally since 2019 and do this full-time from my home office. It brings me absolute joy to hustle behind the scenes in the service of getting other female entrepreneurs’ voices out to the world and on every platform without them (you!) having to carry the stress or techy-struggle. 

A little bit about me personally…

I’m a mom of 2 + dog mom to 2 giant puppies and a wife of nearly 16 years with a prior career both as a Sales Tax Auditor and Commercial Construction Project Manager.

I live in Texas, am an ISFJ-A, Enneagram 1, and my strengths are Achiever, Learner, Relator, Responsibility, and Analytical.

You can usually find me in a too-big T-shirt and sweat pants reading a book while curled up with a hot cuppa. That is, any time I’m not editing or listening to podcasts or running my kids to soccer practice.

 

I am definitely an introvert, although if you get me talking, I might not stop. My vices are sunshine, dark chocolate, smoothies, fuzzy snuggles from our pups, and hugs from my littles each day after school.

 

We love to be outside as a family whether that’s at a sporting event, at the park, feeding ducks, or just going for a walk in our ‘hood.

 

I’m absolutely obsessed with personal development, child psychology, productivity, finance, and anything that makes mom-life easier. For me, that includes my choice to be an entrepreneur!
